50-member Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi body formed

Advocate Khandaker Mahbubuddin Ahmed MP was selected convenor while Barrister Habibul Islam Bhuiyan and former speaker Sheikh Razzak Ali were declared as joint convenors. Shah Khasruzzaman was selected member secretary.

Bhuiyan, also the LGRD minister, presided over the meeting.

The names of the other members will be declared soon.

At a proposal in the meeting, they condemned opposition party's contempt of the court's verdict. They also vowed to uphold the dignity of the law, the High Court and the lawyers.

Justice TH Khan, Law Minister Moudud Ahmed, Communication Minister Barrister Nazmul Huda, Telecommunication Minister Barrister Aminul Huq, State Minister for Law Barrister Muhammad Shahjahan Omar, Bir Uttam, were also present at the meeting.
