500 houses damaged as storm hits Laxmipur
A severe storm lashed five unions of char areas in Raipur upazila Friday night, leaving a man dead and injuring at least 12.
Upazila officials said more than 500 tin-roofed houses were damaged, trees uprooted and electric lines snapped by the storm.
The identity of the victims could not be known.
