56.52 pc pass under Sylhet Board, 385 get GPA-5

A total of 385 students obtained GPA-5 under this board of which 374 were from Science group while Humanities and Business Studies group had eight and three GPA-5 holders respectively. Among the students who obtained the feat, 238 are male and the rest 147 are female.

Of the successful examinees, 4316 out of 4,562 examinees were from Science group while the figure in Humanities group was 10,339 out of a total of 20,728 candidates. The number of successful students in the Business Studies group is 1316 against a total of 2023 appeared.

Among the total 17,568 examinees appeared in the exam, 8805 are male and the rest 8763 are female.

Among the 385 GPA-5 recipients, the Blue Bird High School got 70, Sylhet Cadet College got 51, Sylhet Government Pilot High School got 41, Sylhet Government Agragami Girls High School got 18 and Government SC High School, Sunamganj got 14. The Jalalabad Cantonment High School & College and Buds Residential Model High School of Srimangal had 11 GPA-5 holders each. Habiganj Government High School and Moulvibazar Government High School got 10 GPA-5 each while 9 students of Government High School, Sunamganj received the feat.
