79 AL men get bail in case filed by BNP
Some 79 local Awami League leaders and workers yesterday got anticipatory bail from the High Court in a case filed by BNP men on August 15 over a clash in Sharsha upazila.
The High Court also asked the authority concerned not to harass them for the next six months.
At least 10 people were injured in the clash between BNP and Awami League activists over observing the death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman at Navaron Bazar in the upazila on August 15.

After the incident the 79 AL men went into hiding to avoid arrest.
