Abducted police informer stabbed to death in Ctg
One youth, reportedly a police informant, was stabbed to death after abduction from Halishahar in the city on Thursday night.
The victim was identified as Bablu, 26, son of one Abdul Malek of Hajipara under Double Mooring thana.
Several criminals, reportedly led by one Karim, abducted Bablu from Agrabad Access Road in front of Singapore Cooperative Market under Halishahar thana at around 8.15pm on Thursday, police said.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Later, Police recovered the body of Bablu, which bore marks of stab injuries on throat and belly, from Bandar East Colony area yesterday morning.
The victim's mother, Ayesha Akter Lucky, filed a case accusing Karim alias "Phensi Karim", and his accomplices in this connection.
