AL faction observes hartal at Bagha

Motor vehicles didn't ply any route while educational institutions and business establishments remained closed during the hartal hours.

In a rally AL leaders called upon the party high command to nominate Raihanul Haque and demanded withdrawal of the nomination of AHM Khairuzzaman Liton. They threatened to enforce tougher movement and foil the election if their demand is not met. Earlier, the agitators burnt an effigy of Liton and declared him unwanted in the areas.
