AL leader stabbed to death in Kishoreganj
A local Awami League leader was stabbed to death by a gang of assailants at Sadullar Char on Kishoreganj-Mymensingh road yesterday.
The dead was identified as Shahidullah Khan, 36, information and research secretary of Sadar Upazila Awami League.
Police and local people said the assailants led by three brothers -- Jewel, Rubel and Koyel -- stabbed Shahidullah indiscriminately at about 12:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

The police suspect that previous enmity led to the killing of the AL leader.
