Alleged robber lynched in Nandail
An alleged robber was lynched at Char Kamor Bangha in Betagair union of Nandail upazila here at 10:00am yesterday.
The victim was identified as Abdul Hye Sikder, 48.
Police and locals said Hye had long been involved in robbery and cattle lifting in the locality, which might have enraged the local people.

He was taken to Nandail Upazila Health Complex where the attending doctors declared him dead.
Police sources said Hye was an absconding accused in a robbery case at Heartshira Bazar Nandail upazila.
The body was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) morgue for autopsy.
