America Week begins in Ctg today

Foreign Minister Morshed Khan and Charge d'Affaires of US Embassy Judith Chammas will inaugurate the week at 11:00am at the Hotel Agrabad.

The America Week aims at creating an excellent understanding between the peoples of the two countries, said Jonathan Cebra, director of American Centre, at a press briefing at the Chittagong Press Club yesterday.

American Centre official Marina Yasmin and Abul Ahsan Ahmad Ali were present at the briefing.

The programmes of the week include exhibition, presentation on development, cultural function and view exchange meetings.

During the week, the high officials of US Embassy will visit Imam Training Centre in city's Halishahar area, Court Building and Commodity Silo.
