Aminee warned media against 'propaganda' on madrasas' link
Addressing a meeting at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram, he said some pro-left dailies at the dictate of some external forcers have gone desperate to get Qawmi madrasas shut down and implicate these madrasas and Alem-Ulema (Islamic scholars) in the bomb-blast incidents.
"They are unleashing information terrorism against us...If these papers do not stop baseless propaganda, those papers will be burnt... If these evil efforts are not stopped, consequences will be bad," he declared at the public rally.
Aminee said those who want a rift in the unity of BNP and Islamic parties, do not like country's independence and want to make Bangladesh a dysfunctional and "vassal state of India," are involved in the bombings.
The IOJ chief, a top leader of the ruling coalition, said a certain quarter is trying to prove that Qawmi madrasas are involved in bomb attacks, but they must remember that they are playing with fire. "Each house of the country will be on fire if any madrasa is affected," he cautioned.
Quoting Awami League President Sheikh Hasina's reported remarks that bomb blasts will stop with the resignation of Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, he said such remarks prove that "Sheikh Hasina and Suranjit Babu are involved in the blasts."
Aminee declared next Friday as 'Najat Dibash' and urged the Imams and Khatibs to alert people through Khutba against bomb terrorism.
The coalition lawmaker urged the government not to conduct any search at Qawmi madrasas without permission of the principal of a concerned madrasa.
