Another hotel staff succumbs to his injuries

Subol Chandra Das, 35, who was shot by a gang of extortionists at Hotel Sunrise at Malibagh Chowdhury Para in the city on Sunday, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Hotel sources said the criminals, who had been demanding Tk 50, 000 from the hotel owner, might have carried out the incident for money.

Rafiqul Alam, the other hotel employee, who was also critically injured in the incident, is now under treatment at DMCH.
