He is now under treatment of Dr M A Samad of National Kidney Diseases and Urology Hospital.

Doctors said his both kidneys have been damaged and he needs immediate kidney transplantation which is very expensive.

As his family is unable to afford the treatment cost, he has appealed to the affluent section of the society to extend financial assistance to save his life.

Md Nazmul Kabir, 27, an LLB student at Northern University, is a kidney patient, says a press release.

He was living a normal life with a transplanted kidney donated by his mother in September 1998.

But misfortune did not spare him as this transplanted kidney became inoperative after 2005.

Doctors said re-transplantation of kidney is a must to save his life.

This will require Tk 12 to 15 lakh that his poor family cannot afford.

So he has appealed to benevolent people for financial assistance for his kidney re-transplantation.
