Appeal for help

Farhan Khaled, a student of class ten at Dhaka Residen-tial Model School and College, has been suffering from Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a rare disease of the peripheral nervous system, which can lead to total paralysis, says a press release.

He is now undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of Square Hospital in the city.

According to doctors, his treatment would cost about Tk 30 lakh, which his family cannot afford.

His parents have appealed to generous people to extend a helping hand to save the life of their son.
