Auditor General submits reports to President

The reports included one performance audit report, two special audits, two annual audits and two financial accounts reports and 12 sub-addition accounts.

President thanked the Comptroller and Auditor General for submitting the reports timely.

Iajuddin expressed the hope that the reports would play a significant role in ensuring transparency and accountability of the accounts of the Republic.

Asif Ali informed the President of the activities undertaken by his office. He said officers and employees of the audit department are discharging their duties skillfully.

The President expressed his satisfaction for making the auditing system dynamic through introducing ministry-oriented activities. He stressed the need for training of officials of the department to raise their professional skills.
