The people should not suffer due to political programme as they are not the opponents of political parties, they added.
Supra Secretary Rezaul Karim said the EC should be made fully independent with the provision of separate budget and decision making power.
He suggested separate Identity (ID) Card for each voter saying that only an accurate voter list cannot ensure a free and fair election.
Rezaul cautioned that if the political parties fail to reach a consensus, a third party may capture the state power paving the way for foreign companies to plunder the resources of the country.
He also announced that a four-day-long programme will be observed in 46 districts including Dhaka from today urging all to uphold human rights issues from a non-partisan point of view.
