BAF receives 8 Chinese F-7 fighter planes

The government has purchased the fighters for the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), said an ISPR press release.

Bangladeshi pilots led by Wing Commander Mazharul Karim brought the planes here from Kunming City of China with a short period of landing at Mandalaya of Myanmar.

Air Vice Marshal Fakhrul Islam Azam formally received the planes at the BAF base of Kurmitola where high officials of the Air Force were present.

The rest eight fighters are expected to reach here by the middle of the current year.
