Bail petition of JMB leader Saifullah's wife rejected
A Dhaka court yesterday rejected the bail petition of Taslima Begum, wife of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) Majlish-e-Shura member Khaled Saifullah arrested in connection with the August 17 bomb blasts across the country.
Metropolitan Magistrate Gagannath Das Khokan issued the order following a petition filed by defence lawyer Abul Bashar for Saifullah's wife.
Moving the bail petition, the defence lawyer told the court that his client was involved in the incident as part of a conspiracy to harass her falsely. So he prayed for bail. The prosecution opposed the petition saying that the investigation has found her involvement as female JMB member.

The elite force Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested Saifullah along with his wife and three daughters from a house at Demra in the city on April 25.
