BCL withdraws strike at CU
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Chittagong University (CU) unit yesterday postponed its indefinite strike on the campus enforced on Wednesday.
They withdrew the strike after a fruitful meeting with university authorities at CU Teachers' Club yesterday afternoon.
BCL General Secretary Ershad Hossain said they called off the agitation following an assurance from the CU authorities that their demands would be met by December 30 and considering the admission test that begins today.
