BFUJ convention in November
Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFJU) will hold a national convention protesting the killing of journalists and torture on them in the capital in November.
It was decided at its executive committee meeting on September 25 in Cox's Bazar, BFUJ sources said.
The meeting also demanded of the government to announce dearness allowance for the journalists and employees.

BFUJ President Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury presided.
The meeting was told that threat and torture on journalists were increasing alarmingly but no killers have so far been brought to book.
Family members of slain journalists and victims will attend the convention.
