Bill to be placed in JS after some changes
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education Ministry yesterday discussed `Jagannath University Bill 2005' and decided to place it in parliament after some minor changes.
The committee hoped that upgradation of Jagannath College into a full-fledged university would help cope with the growing demand for higher education and increase scopes for research works.
Committee chairman Shamsul Alam Pramanik presided.
