BNP-police clash in Rangamati
Hartal in Baghachhari upazila tomorrow
BNP yesterday called a dawn-to-dusk hartal in Baghachhari upazila for tomorrow following a clash between BNP activists and the police that left 20 people, including six policemen, injured.
Police said the BNP activists brought out a procession in the afternoon in protest against attack on BNP supporters by Awami League workers during Thursday's hartal.
Witnesses said the demonstrators at one stage attacked local LDP leader Chiltu and beat him.

The BNP activists also ransacked the local AL office and set fire to furniture.
