BPTA submits memo to PM
Bangladesh Polytechnic Teachers' Association (BPTA) submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister yesterday to press implementation of their 10-point demands, says a press release.
Their demands include implementation of junior lecturer- lecturer- professor hierarchy, 40 per cent honorarium for the second shift, setting up of polytechnic institute in every district, immediate recruitment in the vacant posts of the teachers and upgrade of the course curriculum in the polytechnic institutes etc.
A team comprising BPTA President Md Shamsur Rahman, General Secretary M Idris Ali and other leaders handed over the memorandum to the director of PMO Firoz Khan Noon.
