'Bring culprits to justice'

They alleged that the Investigation Officer (IO) of Momin murder case has been trying to drop the prime suspects from the charge sheet in a bid to save the killers.

Shaheed Kamrul Islam Momin Smrity Sangsad formed a human chain in front of the Supreme Court from 9:30am to 10:00am to press its demand.

The speakers said the killers have filed false cases against the members of Momin's family and also issued death threats to them.

They called on the government to ensure security of Momin's family and bring the killers to justice.

President of the Sangsad Mominul Kabir Masum, general secretary Harunur Rashid Harun and Momin's elder brother Saiful Islam took part in the demonstration.

Momin, 22, was gunned down in front of their Ibrahimpur house on September 13 last year.
