BSF returns bodies of 2 farmers
The Border Security Force (BSF) of India handed over the bodies of two Bangladeshi farmers to the BDR following a flag meeting at Baragram bordering area in Dinajpur yesterday.
The farmers -- Rashidul Islam Chowdhury, 40, son of Bazlur Karim, and Babul Hossain 20, son of Abul Hossain -- were killed i BSF firing on Friday morning.
BDR sources said a company commander level flag meeting was held yesterday, three days into the killing.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Company Commander of BDR-15 sector Md Solayman Habildar led the Bangladesh side while Shanjib Kumar, company commander of BSF-200 of Alenda camp, led the Indian side at the meeting.
Later, the bodies of the farmers were handed over to their families.
