Cake festival begins today
Nari Grantha Prabartana will organise a two-day Pitha Utsab (cake festival) beginning today at Prabartana Bhaban at Sir Syed Road in the city.
Variety of winter cakes made of molasses and rice husked by "Dhenki" (indigenous tool) will be exhibited and sold on the occasion.
Besides, discussions, songs, stories, jokes and musical soiree on cakes will be also be arranged during the festival.
