Cardamom worth Tk 50 lakh recovered in Ctg
Detective Branch (DB) police recovered two trucks of imported cardamom worth around Tk 50 lakh and arrested one person in the port city in the early hours yesterday.
Tipped off, a squad of DB police raided an iron-manufacturing factory of MA Malek at Nasirabad area at around 3:00am.
They recovered cardamom in 125 cartons worth around Tk 50 lakh from Mahmud Iron Safe Products Factory and arrested Sunil Dey in this connection, sources said.
