Cellphone sets worth TK 1.5 cr seized at ZIA
Cellphone sets and accessories worth about Tk 1.5 crore were seized at the Zia International Airport (ZIA) in the city early yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, customs officials recovered 1,395 pieces of cellphone sets with batteries while 588 sets without batteries, mobile batteries and 3,000 double SIM cardholders from 13 cartons at the Postal Department of the airport at about 9.30am, customs sources said.
