Change in intelligence soon
Says Adviser Dhiraj
Adviser Dhiraj Kumar Nath has said the caretaker government will reshuffle the intelligence agencies alongside bringing about more changes in the entire police administration.
"Changes in the police and intelligence agencies are necessary," the adviser told newsmen at his office yesterday.
Dhiraj, adviser for livestock, fisheries, housing and public works, said the government was considering the transfer of Election Commission Secretary Abdur Rashid Sarkar even though it is difficult to find a competent person to replace him.

About recent promotion of 361 officials, the adviser said the government tried to be neutral when considered their promotion.
Dhiraj said the promotion was timely too because some 60 to 70 senior officials will go on LPR between December 30 and end of January.
