Chemistry Olympiad from next yr

The first such Olympiad will be held in next January.

The BCS, a society of more than 3,600 academicians and scientists working in the field of chemistry in universities, colleges and industries, will organise the programme to fulfil its constitutional obligations to promote and encourage the study of chemistry among young students of the country.

The Olympiad will be an annual event, and will be held at two levels -- secondary and higher secondary.
