Clash leaves 17 injured
At least 17 people were injured in a fierce clash between two rival groups over capturing a land at west Khuksia village in Kazipur upazila on Thursday.
Local people said a dispute had long been prevailing between two neighbours - Abdur Rashid and Abdus Aziz - of the village over a piece of land.
Supporters of Rashid and Aziz clashed with each other at noon and threw brickbats that left 17 people injured on both sides.
