Cloth trader killed in road accident
A businessman was killed in a road accident on Tangail town bypass early yesterday.
The victim was identified as Kanai Lal Shaha, 36, son of Kalipada Shaha of Sabalia area in the town.
Police and witnesses said, a Dhaka-bound speedy passenger bus from North Bengal crushed cloth trader Kanai under its wheels while he was walking at Gharinda area on the town bypass at around 6:00am leaving him died on the spot.
