Community pry teachers' ultimatum to govt
Community primary teachers, who have been observing hunger strike at the Central Shaheed Minar demanding nationalisation of their jobs since August 6, yesterday formed a human chain, with their eyes covered and hands tied with black cloths.
Leaders of Bangladesh Community Primary Teachers' Association urged the government to meet their demands by 10:00am today.
Otherwise, they will enforce tougher movements at 11:00am.

As many as 10,565 community primary school teachers, who are employed to teach 10 lakh students in remote areas in the country, remain stuck in miserable conditions with a monthly salary of only Tk 750.
