Concern over condition of primary schools
Bangladesh Mohila Parishad expressed concern over the condition of primary schools across the country following the fast-unto-death by the community and government primary school teachers.
At a press release, the Parishad said that the government is not playing its role when the primary school teachers are staging demonstrations demanding nationalisation of job, elimination of salary discrimination and hundred per cent salary.
They also said that success in achieving Millennium Development Goal (MDG) would not be possible depriving the teachers of their fundamental rights.
