Convict Thai dies in Gazipur hospital
Wain, a convict citizen of Thailand, died of tuberculosis at Gazipur Sadar Hospital at 7:30pm yesterday after he was taken there from Kashimpur Central Jail for treatment.
Kashimpur jail source said Wain, son of Chan of Saibori Street, Thana-Byao, District-Saawkaw, Thailand, has been in the jail since April 16, this year.
He was arrested for carrying illegal arms and sentenced for seven years in jail.
