Convicted fugitive held
Army arrested a convicted fugitive in journalist Kamal murder case at Nayapara under Manikchhari upazila here yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, army personnel arrested Siraj Mia 30, who was sentenced to death by a court in Chittagong.
Siraj was the main accused in the murder case. Kamal, 23, Manikchhari upazila correspondent of the Bengali daily Ajker Kagoj, was killed on August 21 in 2004.

Manikchhari police sent him to the Khagrachhari jail.
