Court issues summons to former justice
A Dhaka court yesterday issued summons to a former justice, asking him to appear before the court on January 30 in connection with a case of dishonouring of cheque.
Metropolitan Magistrate Mizanur Rahman issued the order following a case filed by a bank official against M Bazlur Rahman Talukder.
In his complaint, Aftabuddin of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Ltd mentioned that Talukder received a loan of Tk 12.7 lakh from the bank.
