CPB demands permanent solution to monga

Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) demanded assistance formonga(a famine like situation) affected people and creation of alternative employment opportunities to permanently address the problem at a meeting in the city yesterday.

CPB General Secretary Mujahidul Islam Selim urged the followers to make their street sit-in programme a success to be staged on October 16 across the country with a slogan 'prevent monga, reduce price, save life'.

He also demanded punishment to those who are involved in corruption with relief and VGF.

Central leaders of CPB addressed the meeting held at the Party's Central Office in the city.
