Ctg RMG workers ransack factory for salaries

Sources said the workers of Krishan Knitting Ltd. Suspended their work went on a rampage at around 3:30pm as the management rejected their demand.

They damaged a few windowpanes, sewing machines and the switchboard before the police and members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) stepped in.

The workers, however, joined their work after leaders of Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) visited the factory and talked them into returning to their work.
