Death anniversary of Ahsanullah Master today

Ahsanullah, a lawmaker from Gazipur-2 constituency and Sramik League leader, was gunned down by criminals during a conference of Sechchhasebak League on May 7, 2004.

Awami League and its front organisations and Shaheed Ahsanullah Master Smriti Parishad have drawn up elaborate programmes to mark the day. The programmes include discussions and milad and doa mahfils.

A discussion will be held at the auditorium of Institution of Diploma Engineers in the capital at 3:00pm today, with Awami League President Sheikh Hasina as the chief guest.
