Death threat to woman journo condemned
Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP) expressed concern over the death threat to Journalist Jahanara Ferdous, Porshuram upazila correspondent of the weekly Jahur published from Feni.
Mahila Parishad President Hena Das and General Secretary Ayesha Khanam in a statement also condemned the misdeed of the vested quarter and urged the authorities concerned to take legal steps against the culprits immediately.
They said threat to Jahanara is a threat to freedom of the press.
