Dhaka elected IMO council member
Bangladesh has been elected a council member of International Maritime Organisation (IMO) for the year 2006-07, said a press release yesterday.
The election for membership of the IMO Executive Council was held on Saturday at its headquarters in London during the ongoing 24th session. The Assembly takes place every two years.
