Distortion of history protested
'Awami Teachers, Officials and Employees Welfare Association' of Rajshahi University yesterday took out a protest procession on the campus protesting distortion of history of liberation war.
At the rally in front of Senate Building, speakers strongly protested and condemned the telecast of a documentary in the state-run Bangladesh Television distorting history of the liberation war and Bangabandhu.
The rally was addressed by the association's President Prof Muzaffar Hossain, Prof Abdul Latif, Muklesur Rahman and Chitta Ranjan Misra.
