Dr Kamal for resignation of CEC
Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain yesterday said the chief election commissioner (CEC) and two other election commissioners must resign before the coming general election for the sake of national interest.
Addressing a central committee meeting of the party at its office, he said the role of the CEC has reached the climax of shameless sycophancy and that is why he must quit.
Dr Kamal said the task of updating the voter list must be done through door-to-door visit as it is the demand of the nation.
