Dr Yuree awarded Universal Grand Master of 2006

Dr Yuree, president of World Butthan Martial Art Federation, USA, is the first Bangali and first in South Asia to receive the world's most prestigious award.

His outstanding research paper on Ancient Indian Unarmed Combat Method and Self-Defense Art and Skill as envisaged in science-based Butthan Martial Art, invented by him, was the prime consideration for the award.

Dr Yuree is also the editor of The News Brigade, the only defense and security journal in the country and the president, Bangladesh Defense Journalists Forum.
