Dr Zakir receives Oman university Research Award

He has been working at this university since January 2002.

Dr Hossain has published about 30 research papers in the field of econometrics, financial econometrics and business statistics in prestigious international journals.

His research work mainly focuses on the estimation of true relationships and growth pattern of the parameters of econometric, financial and many other quantitative models. He also authored a book on financial econometrics published in the UK.
