East West University convocation tomorrow

President Iajuddin Ahmed will confer the degrees among the graduating students as the chief guest.

Ayub Quadri, adviser for Ministries of Education, Primary and Mass Education and Cultural Affairs, will attend the ceremony as the special guest.

Prof Jamal Nazrul Islam, Professor Emeritus, University of Chittagong, will be the convocation speaker.

A total number of 644 students will be conferred degrees under various graduate and undergraduate programmes. Of them, 435 students will be conferred degrees at the graduate level (BBA-267, CSC-19, CSE-103, ECO-1, ICE-28, English-17) and 209 at the post-graduate level (Masters in Business Administration-153, Masters in Business Administration (Executive Programme)-19, Masters in Bank Management-2, Masters in Development Studies-10, Masters in English-18, Masters in Computer Science and Engineering-3, Masters in Telecommunications Engineering-4). Eleven graduating students (6 from Undergraduate Programmes and 5 from Graduate Programmes) will be receiving gold medals for their outstanding academic performance.
