Eastern University team wins first prize in Soft Fair

North South University Computer Club organised the fair.

The Eastern University team presented a project titled 'Microcomputer Operations Demo Kit'. The kit demonstrates visually the internal structures of a computer, operations of its different components along with time sequence.

The kit has been designed and developed to aid both teachers and students to teach or study computer science courses such as computer fundamentals, microcomputer and assembly language, computer organisation and architecture, and microprocessor and I/O.

CSE department students Md Anowar Hossain, Jannatul Ferdous and Iftekhar Mohammad Khondoker developed the project under the guidance of Prof Dr Muhammad Abdul Halim Shaikh, dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
