Election Olympiad held in Pirojpur

Ierin Parvin and Farzana Rahman, students of Government Sohrawardi College emerged champion and runner-up in graduate students' group.

In college students' group Al-Amin, student of the same college and Mondira Majumder of Government Mahila College, became champion and runner-up respectively.

A total of 301 higher secondary and graduate students from different colleges of Pirojpur took part in the competition.

Sujon (Citizen for Good Governance) of Pirojpur district committee organised the competition at Apex Bhaban to help create awareness among the citizens of election and politics.

The inaugural programme was presided over by Prof Sheikh Syedur Rahman, convenor of Pirojpur committee while Dr Badiul Alam Majumder, secretary of Sujon central committee, Advocate Ali Ahmed Khan, president of Pirojpur Chamber of Commerce, Principal Pratul Brakhha and Muniruzzaman Nasim also spoke on the occasion.
