Expulsion of Abu Hena is unfortunate, says Hamid
Deputy Leader of the Opposition and former speaker Abdul Hamid Advocate yesterday said the expulsion of Abu Hena MP from the ruling BNP is 'unfortunate'.
In an instant reaction, he said, "Abu Hena lost membership from his party for speaking against fundamentalists and extremism. It is very unfortunate."
It reflects the real stance of the government, which has been backing and nourishing the Islamic militancy, the veteran parliamentarian from Kishoreganj told Bdnews.
