Extension of time demanded
Tax lawyers in a statement demanded to extend the time limit for submission of income tax returns to one month, says a press release.
The decrease in working days due to two day weekly holidays, provision of attaching photographs, submission of income tax returns and description of property made it complicated for the taxpayers to submit returns in time, said Md Zakir Hossain, president of Jatiya Kar Ainjibi Samity (JKAS).
